3 Part(y) Printmaking

Whether you’re new to linocut printmaking or have experience, this Printmaking series has something for everyone!

3 Part(y) Printmaking is comprised of three workshops to explore the art of Linocut Printmaking. Sign up for all three to get the full experience (and a discount!) or pick and choose which nights you want. We’ll start small with mini blocks and erasers, move up to a larger linocut blocks, and learn the ins and outs of pulling prints. Each workshop will be two hours, from 6-8 PM on the following dates:

May 6th, Part 1: MINI LINOCUT! Artists will design, carve, and print a mini linocut. Think of it as making your own stamp!

May 13th, Part 2: LARGER LINOCUT! Artists will design, carve, and make a test print of their linocut block.

May 20th, Part 3: PRINTING PARTY: The last workshop is just for printing! Attendees will learn different printing, registration, and masking techniques and leave with multiple prints. Artists who can’t attend Parts 1 or 2 will be provided with carved blocks to print with.
